According to the Infancy Code (Law 1098/06), every child have the right to receive an alimony quote that cover all the child needs, this child support quote include education, health, recreation, clothing and food, in other words is an integral quote that every parent should provide even since the pregnancy period until 18 years old or in other specific cases 25 years. This alimony fee can be set as an agreement between both parents and or by who held the parental authority over the child, example of this are the grandparents; If both parts don’t reach an agreement, these alimony quote has to be set in the first scenario by the authority administrative (Family Defender or Family Commissary) and in the second scenario should be the Family Judge through a legal process in the Family court.
